Don Dokken

The artcile says: "Demos of the material were recorded with Don Dokken as vocalist; however none of those recordings are featured on the album", which is true, but as mentioned on the Don Dokken article: "Meine recovered and returned to record the album, although Dokken's background vocals remained on several tracks.". Unfortunately, the most credible source for this information is an interview with Don Dokken that was once published on classicrockrevisited.com, but it seems it has since been removed. Don Dokken is quoted saying: "I was there to sing background lyrics to take the strain off of Klaus’s voice and also to look at the lyrics."
For what it's worth, I found an excerpt of this interview on a forum (not a reliable source, I know) :
