The original 1987 album cover
[edit]I have a cover of 1987 edition on cassette. It contains black & white photo facing different children (without an adult present) in front. The eBay seller will give you details of the vinyl edition[1][2]. --Gh87 04:45, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
peace train removal because of statements by Yusuf Islam
[edit]I have removed the Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam, Peace Train, Salman Rushdie, New York Times citation. At no place in the article are 10,000 Maniacs, Natalie Merchant or Peace Train mentioned. From what I recall at the time Natalie asked the song to be removed because was just too optimistic and it was put in the album at the insistence of the record company. I have the compilation CD Campfire Songs in front of me and I will see if I can find the reason why the song was removed in the linear notes. So, why WAS the song finally removed? Can you either return the Cat Stevens language or put something more definite? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.58.206.83 (talk) 13:09, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
