The result of the debate was delete. Joyous 15:59, Mar 19, 2005 (UTC)
Probably notable in Africa or Nigeria but not notable worldwide. There is a number of term in this article which would indicate notability, and which should be found on google if they were real:
- The Ohanyido's sign in medicine / sonology was named after him - 1 google hit, a biography.
- His theory of possible digital ICT convergence with medicine has been termed The Ohanyido Matrix - 2 google hits
- His book Basic Telemedicine for Doctors in Low Income Settings - 0 google hits
- His book Clan kind - 0 google hits
So this should be deleted as vanity. Thue | talk 17:15, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Comment: Nigeria is represented significantly poorer on the internet than, say, places, in most countries in Europe, North America, or East Asia. He may be famous in Nigeria without appearing on Google. DanKeshet
- Comment: Everything suggests that he is notable on a regional plane . Wikipedia should also be about balancing things internationally. Should not be deleted.EL 01:58, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, not notable, vanity. Nigeria is represented significantly on the internet albeit for all the wrong reasons - letter scams. Megan1967 01:53, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete without better third-party verifiability. You may note that every "Who's Who" except the big one is essentially vanity publishing - their entire market is the people listed in it - David Gerard 14:12, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete unless verified by third party. andy 16:27, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)
