This article seems to be almost a direct copy of dictionary.com. [1] --Highwind 14:21, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citation in Intro

[edit]

The citation is apparently from Eastons Bible Dictionary and can be found online at [[2]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.249.252.225 (talk) 01:58, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

Image suggestion

[edit]
Detail - cast of the central sections: Traditio Legis and Jesus entering Jerusalem

The Sarcophagus of Junius Bassus has a nice scene with Zaccheus (lower register, central scene). This photo would need to be cropped first, unless someone has a better version. Mgsobo (talk) 19:26, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Section delete

[edit]

The later traditions section was repeated many times, either by accident or by a vandal. Therefore, I deleted all but the original. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.227.173.229 (talk) 01:48, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In Western Christianity

[edit]

After more than 60 years of acquaintance with "western Christianity" I do not recognise the practice described in the paragraph beginning "In Western Christianity ... ". I followed the link to the page entitled 'Dedication' but found no reference there. I feel this paragraph needs more explanation of the context in which this practice is observed (which denomination, etc). Douglasson (talk) 18:37, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
