This was listed on the wfy-needed page, but it looks pretty well wikified to me. | Keithlaw 04:14, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Moved here from article
- some machines can also perform other operations such as solder paste application, board digitizing, and measurement, but these are not required for the actual production of a board (My italics).
So why does this need to be mentioned in article on PCB MILLING?Light current 07:24, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
Printed?
[edit]In what sense can a milled circuit board said to be "printed"? SpinningSpark 00:18, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
- The same sense as an etched board is described as "printed". Andy Dingley (talk) 00:40, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
- With an etched board the resist is deposited with a process analogous to printing (photolithography or silk-screening). The same cannot be said for milling. SpinningSpark 00:54, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
