Wade
[edit]Is it accurate to say Wade fits the "hippie" stereotype? I got the impression he was supposed to be the "party dude" stereotype instead. Q0 01:52, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- He's sort of both. Remember how he was after the goldfish died? "Poor Mister goldfish"/"I'm thinking globally." Or somesuch.--DooMDrat 00:18, Mar 31, 2005 (UTC)
- Wade also admits that he has a "bubble addiction." Blowing bubbles was used in The Sims 2: University as a replacement for using illegal narcotics. Drugs are definitely a crucial part of the "hippie" stereotype. --Cleveland Rock 19:34, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Mysterious Voice
[edit]Character entry needed for the voice. I can't remember, doesn't it refer to itself as "we"?--DooMDrat 00:18, Mar 31, 2005 (UTC)
- I think in one of the episodes it stated, "we prefer the term omnipotent" Q0 02:54, 31 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Gnome/Leprachaun
[edit]In regard to the gnome/leprachaun that Griggs saw: I think in episode 4 Griggs remarked, "Stupid leprachaun", so it appears it was a leprachaun not a gnome. Q0 02:47, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- He does, on multiple occasions, refer to it as a leprechaun. However, the object in question is a lawn gnome. There's a chance Griggs doesn't know the difference between gnomes and leprechauns. --Cleveland Rock 19:37, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Cast
[edit]Can anyone confirm this?
- Catherine: Lindsey Griffith
- Nikki: Brooke Hattabaugh
- Omnipotent voice: Gus Sorola and Geoff Fink
- Dutchmiller: Matt Hullum
Planning out the future
[edit]If The Strangerhood is successful and does go on, there will need to be some changes to the structure of the article.
Proposed:
- Characters
- Cast
- Episodes
- Season 1
- Season 2
- etc.
- Special episodes
- See also
- External links
If it's very successful and has many seasons, the episodes will be moved to something like The Strangerhood episodes, The Strangerhood episode guide, List of The Strangerhood episodes, or List of episodes from The Strangerhood. - 68.23.46.106 04:41, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
I think that there should be an "Easter Egg" section worked in there, each of the movies contain some small spoof in them (i.e. did not comletly erase antire Plumbob above Sim's head). -User: Thrawst
Production
[edit]Does anyone know how Rooster Teeth Productions make their episodes? - 68.23.36.253 1 July 2005 04:15 (UTC)
Numerous redirects
[edit]Loads of redirects were recently created by an unregistered user. I am in the process of RFD'ing them. NO-ONE will type in "Wade (The Strangerhood)", when they can just type in "The Strangerhood", or "Strangerhood".--DooMDrat July 1, 2005 06:43 (UTC)
Wikiquote
[edit]There is already a Wikiquote link in the article. There is no need for a second. Besides, details is an illogical word to use for the link.--DooMDrat July 8, 2005 03:53 (UTC)
References
[edit]Okay, everyone, I brought this concern up in the FAC, and I'm going to bring it up again: is everything in the article from the references and external links? I'm concerned because some of the information given in the article doesn't seem to appear in the references given, especially everything in the Production section. (Note this isn't the only concern I have, but it is the main one.) --JB Adder | Talk 23:28, July 28, 2005 (UTC)
Wade rapping?
[edit]During the episode with the American Idol spoof, how did they get him to do that rapping thing? -annonymous contributor.
I believe rapping/composing songs is a feature of the University life in The Sims 2: University, although the the Sim still raps with uncomprehensible words, the people at Rooster Teeth Productions filled in the words so they could make the spoof possible. Hope that answers your question. User: Thrawst
- I believe this was a feature in The Sims 2 without any expansion packs. Just click on the Sim you already have selected and click "freestyle." Selecting "freestyle for tips" will allow Sims to pay you, as they would a street performer. --Cleveland Rock 19:40, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Rewrite
[edit]I've cleaned up this article a bit. Did a bunch of contraction replacements, modifier fixes, and other copyedits. However, some of the episode summaries are basically blow-by-blow. I streamlined a few, but more could be done, and I'm not as familiar with this series as I am with the other two Rooster Teeth series. -- TKD 16:55, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Screenshots
[edit]It would be nice if you can get a screenshot of each episode into wikipedia. It is really the pictures and multimedia now adays that aid the articles.

- We shouldn't go overboard though.-Drat (Talk) 02:09, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Regarding my Changing of Dr. Chalmers' Real Name back to Unknown
[edit]In the last episode of Season 1, it is revealed that Dr. Chalmers was not actually Irish, so that name is a lie. Dr. Chalmers' true name is still a mystery.
Strangerhood userbox
[edit]Add this to your userpage: {{User Strangerhood}}.--Drat (Talk) 11:32, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Lol, nice one :D -Jort227 20:06, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've adapted three new ones thus far. See them at User:Drat/Userboxes.--Drat (Talk) 14:50, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Big Brother
[edit]Was Big Brother an influence on the premise behind this show? I'd personally be very surprised if it wasn't because the The Strangerhood is strikingly similar in concept to BB (except enjoyable to watch :) ). I think it'd make sense to mentuion Big Brother as one of the shows being spoofed by this show.
explain to me how BB has its influence? i've also read 1984, and i don't see too much simmilarity. the people don't idolize the voice. Itachi1452 17:23, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Season 2??
[edit]Does anyone if there are plans for another season? Maybe with other characters since the season 1 characters are all back to their own time. -Jort227 (Talk) 20:06, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- The fact the DVD has a circle with "Season One" on it suggests at least another season, but your guess is as good as mine as to its nature.--Drat (Talk) 07:15, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Improving this article
[edit]I'm still catching up on the most recent episodes, but my thought is that even though there's only one season, it might be beneficial to spin off the episode list into its own article (List of The Strangerhood episodes) and to summarize the overall plot here, so as not to give undue weight to it. Also, this article should include the Background, Production, and Reception sections that Red vs Blue. It'll be interesting to see whether anyone reputable reviews the DVD, but here are some links to past articles on The Strangerhood: PopMatters, Wired, IGN, BBC, GameSpy. — TKD::Talk 08:59, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've just created the (List of The Strangerhood episodes) page. I copied the summary from each episode from the main Strangerhood page, I hope that's not a problem. I'm unsure however what we need to do with the summary's on this page? -Jort227 13:55, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- I just completed the move. I'm now working on a characters page. I'll post it within an hour or so. Might be less.--Drat (Talk) 15:52, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Done. I have also updated the RoosterTeeth template.--Drat (Talk) 16:26, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Allright well done. Now we have much more sophisticated information about these series :D. -Jort227 16:44, 15 June 2006 (UTC) (Talk)
- Done. I have also updated the RoosterTeeth template.--Drat (Talk) 16:26, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Good work, you two. The only thing left for the in-universe information is that the plot needs to be re-summarized here, in a condensed form (I'd estimate that 2–3 longish paragraphs should be enough). See Red vs Blue for a similar setup (the episode-by-episode summaries are on separate pages, but we give a very high-level overview of the plot in the main article.

Downgraded to Start-Class
[edit]Until we get some more information on background/production/reception, I've downgraded this article temporarily to Start-Class. Hope that no one minds. (By the way, see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Machinima#Assessment for my thoughts on these grading schemes.) — TKD::Talk 05:25, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Tovar
[edit]A confused "ethnic minority"? Any chance of phrasing this better?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.130.47.110 (talk • contribs) .
- Unfortunately, unless there is extra info given on the DVD profiles/commentary/whatever, all we have to go on is that he is from some european country (I think). He sort of fits the stereotype of the "confused new immigrant". But I can't think of much that wouldn't be Original Research.--Drat (Talk) 08:55, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- Tovar is actually referenced in an episode as "that stupid foreign dude." Would you rather have that? Hahaha. --Cleveland Rock 19:43, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
