Humehwy, whose real name is Bradley, was born on February 20, 1978 in Eastwood, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. He grew up in Liverpool, another Sydney suburb and lived for five years in Wollongong where he studied Geographic Information Systems at the Illawarra Institute of Technology. He is a moderately active Wikipedian who currently resides in Brisbane, the capital city of the State of Queensland.
Hobbies and interests
[edit]Humehwy's interests include reading, walking, rugby league football (he supports the Wests Tigers and his family has done so for four generations on his father's side - it's a tribal thing), history and transport.
Origin of name
[edit]Bradley named his online presence after the Hume Highway for two reasons: Because for twenty years of his life he lived within walking distance of Australia's grandest arterial which therefore came to be a major part of his identity, and also to celebrate his life-long love of land transport.
