What are cepstra? Why they're the Fourier transform of the logarithm of the absolute value of the Fourier transform of windowed signals, of course!

How do you use them? In speech processing mainly. I used cepstra to characterise the useful bits in voices when I did my engineering honours project in user verification.

Now I'm doing a PhD not in speech but in Computer Vision.
