- Under the terms of the GFDL license, we have to keep this page. It has a (short) edit history in which actual content was modified. The GFDL license guarantees that authors receive attribution for their work; the edit history is how we do it. Just blank the page and leave it orphaned, with the edit history intact to satisfy our legal requirement. In any case, its existence is harmless, aside from taking up a couple Kb of disk space. • Benc • 04:56, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- if true, then redirect it, so it is less likely to get deleted in the future. Fishboy 21:32, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
I only suggested the deletion to avoid duplication. If the policy is to keep these pages then that is what we should do. However, it seems pointless to keep the page if it is not linked to from anywhere. Should it be linked to from the article, or maybe just the discussion page. Could someone who knows about these matters ensure that the appropriate protocols are followed? --HappyDog 23:42, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
This page is now preserved as an archive of the debate and, like some other VfD subpages, is no longer 'live'. Subsequent comments on the issue, the deletion, or the decision-making process should be placed on the relevant 'live' pages. Please do not edit this page.
