Advertising, and quite elaborate advertising. Too many English words to be a speedy. No evidence of notability at all, and it links to their online menu. I wonder if they do a transcontinental delivery?Geogre 14:10, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)

- And to think...I literally just ordered a pizza. Frankly, I think his participles are dangling. The "welcomes children with high-chairs and soda lids" is priceless! Off for a case of pepperoni-induced heartburn to celebrate my 37-pound weight loss (and counting!) and the fact it's Friday. Who knows? Maybe I'll see children with soda lids where I'm headed! Oh, and delete as advertising. This was just too funny not to, uh, weigh in. Too bad I'm not a regular. They typically recognize their regulars, you know. - Maybe: Boil down to three nonpromotional sentences, merge somewhere (probably Indianapolis), and redirect. I got entangled in a hassle over whether the New Haven article should mention Pepe's Pizza and Sally's Apizza [sic]. I ended up changing my mind (I hate it when that happens); others convinced me that these plain-sounding establishment were quite notable enough to deserve mention in the New Haven article. Once-bitten, twice shy. I don't think this restaurant should have an entire article, but I don't want to assume that this place isn't at least locally notable. (The Indianapolis article doesn't seem to mention eateries, however). The awkward language shouldn't count against it, that's easily fixed. The promotional breeziness can be fixed and the thing can be boiled down to a delicious three-sentence reduction. What I want to know is, how notable is it? Fortunately, Bazbeaux is not a common word or name, so... hmm... 600 Google hits, almost all relevant... big professional-looking website, much better written than the article. And here I thought it was a little mom-and-pop shop with a Wikipedia article written by mom and pop themselves. They claim a 17 year string of "Best Pizza in Indianapolis" awards... dunno... anyone know any Wikipedians who are Indianapolites? Honest, RickK, I'm not an antideletionist... - I sympathize with Dpbsmith's worries, but at some point, the author has to establish some premise of notability for the subject of the article. This one fails to do that. We can't be expected to go out and hunt for every reason that might justify inclusion, if those reasons aren't stated. Delete. --Michael Snow 18:14, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete A Google search for Bazbeaux Pizza returns 524 results for this specific restaurant, which lends some hint of notability, but either that notably must be clearly defined in the article or Wikipedia must change it's name to The Wiki Pages -TheFed 23:41, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
