[edit]Would this be the fellow who was serving as ambassador to Germany during the Fashoda crisis? john k 06:35, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Not sure, but it wouldn't be surprising. I came across him as one of the advocates of a 1895 mosque project in Paris (part of my dissertation research) -- the stimulus to sorting out the Noailles family was my trying to figure out who the hell this Noailles, ambassadeur de France was... Do you have a reference to a Noailles at that time? --Tkinias 09:56, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)
